Dolly’s Dream partnership expands Mortgage Choice’s impact

The Mortgage Choice Charity Foundation (MCCF) announced it has raised more than $360,000 for Australian charities during FY24.
This includes $96,000 for its national partner, Dolly’s Dream, and over $264,000 for more than 50 local charities across the country.
Established in 2022, the MCCF is a broker-led initiative supported by REA Group.
Contributions come from voluntary donations, with Mortgage Choice brokers contributing $5 from every loan written. Over the past year, 92% of brokers participated, a rise from 83% in FY23.
“We are so proud of the impact the Mortgage Choice Charity Foundation is having on the most vulnerable members of our communities,” said Anthony Waldron, CEO of Mortgage Choice. “Our brokers not only donate but also volunteer their time to support local charities.”
Since the partnership began in 2023, the collaboration has raised over $96,000 to further these efforts.
Sally Sweeney, Head of Dolly’s Dream, praised the partnership, saying, “The Dolly’s Dream partnership with the Mortgage Choice Charity Foundation is truly incredible… Every act of kindness, every conversation, and every effort made by the Mortgage Choice team truly counts in our movement to end bullying.”
Local charities benefit across Australia
In addition to Dolly’s Dream, Mortgage Choice brokers supported over 50 local charities across the country. Beneficiaries included organizations such as Big Group Hug, Cancer Council’s Relay for Life, and Starlight Children’s Foundation.
Donna Campbell, MCCF Committee National Chairperson, emphasised the importance of giving back.
“By volunteering time to help those less fortunate, you gain a new perspective and a strong sense of purpose,” Campbell said.
