Brokers, lenders, BDMs among those recognised

The mortgage and finance broking industry in Western Australia convened last night in Perth to honour this year’s achievers at the 2024 MFAA State Excellence Awards.
As part of the nationwide series of award ceremonies, the event at Crown Perth celebrated the outstanding accomplishments of MFAA members in areas such as customer service, professionalism, ethics, growth, and innovation.
“It’s exciting to be here in Perth to acknowledge the achievements of our members and the outstanding outcomes they are delivering for their clients,” MFAA CEO Anja Pannek said. “Not only did we receive a phenomenal number of submissions this year, but the quality of entries was also impressive. I congratulate all our finalists and, of course, our winners.”
Eighteen winners were acknowledged during the ceremony. Notable recipients included Renee Dewar (pictured above left) from Loan Market who nabbed the Business Development Manager Award – Aggregator, Helen Avis (pictured above right) from Special Mortgage who won the Residential Finance Broker Award, and Robert Flynn (pictured above centre) from Vorteil Financial Group who snagged the Young Professional Award.
