Mylah and Marnie will be touring Merlin attractions throughout the summer, and the first 100 kids to say hi will get a free ice cream!

Follow a Skateboarding Route in London
The first British woman to get into the US Skateboarding Open, Stefani Nurding, has teamed up with Bumbu Rum to create fun maps that depict the best skateboarding routes through the city. There are over 750,000 regular skateboarders in Britain, an uptick of 11% since it became an Olympic sport in 2021. If you fancy getting out of the skate park and trying to see more of the city, you can make the most of these free maps to help you discover new skating places in the area. Not only is it one of the great free things to do this summer, it counts as exercise so you’ll get fit at the same time!
Stefani Nurding says: “The skateboarding culture in London is so exciting at the moment. There’s an eclectic mix of skaters and so many people pushing boundaries. I love that skateboarding has had so much more visibility in recent years, with massive growth and inclusivity and it can only get bigger after this year’s Olympics. Partnering with Bumbu helps to make skateboarding more accessible and inspire people to embrace this amazing sport.”

Nab Free Tickets with Magnum
To coincide with the launch of two new flavours, Magnum Euphoria Pink Lemonade and Magnum Chill Blueberry Cookie, ice cream fanatic favourite Magnum has relaunched its Pick Your Pleasure Pass for the summer to give you a chance to find free things to do with event and experience tickets you could win.
All you need to do is visit the website and complete a short quiz to find out what you’re in the mood for, then enter your details to be in with a chance of winning. You could win tickets to music events like the ever-popular Candlelight Concerts or things to do like the Van Gogh immersive experience. The idea behind the Pick Your Pleasure pass is to inspire people to seize the moment more and say yes to enjoying new experiences. Even if you don’t win tickets, you can still have a new experience as the consolation prize is a free Magnum ice cream in one of the new flavours!
Magnum Brand Manager, Daniel Lythgo, says:
“Our Pick Your Pleasure Pass campaign has come at a time when Brits seem to be overwhelmed with the admin that comes with planning a night out but are open to exploring spontaneity. It’s surprising that the study found more than half of Brits prefer spontaneous plans over planned events and we’re hoping people can unlock moments of spontaneous pleasure this summer at the range of events on offer. This year with Pleasure Pass we’re giving aways tickets to truly unmissable euphoric and chill events to allow people to choose the experience that best suits their mood.”

Cheap Cricket Tickets
The Hundred launches again this year with brilliant cheap tickets to inspire those both already into cricket and those who have never watched it before to enjoy the sport. Kids tickets are just £5 and adults £11.
It’s not just about cricket, either! There’s plenty of entertainment and amazing headline music acts, too. While this year’s acts are yet to be announced at time of writing, in 2023 the event saw the likes of Jax Jones, Rudimental, and Becky Hill. There’s a choice of venue, too: Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester, Headingly in Leeds, Trent Bridge in Nottingham, Edgbaston in Birmingham, and London’s iconic Lord’s and Kia’s Oval.
A fun day out for the whole family, The Hundred runs from 23rd July to 18th August 2024. Check out details and tickets here.
