MacBook Pro 2018 – Won’t turn on after battery died

I’m experiencing a strange issue with my MacBook Pro 2018, and I’m hoping for some advice or similar experiences. Here’s what happened:

My MacBook charged normally, but I unplugged it to use it briefly. When it reached 6%, I plugged it back in to charge.

the system displayed “Battery Not Charging” at that point, even though the charger was connected. The percentage didn’t drop but didn’t increase significantly either.

Eventually, the battery drained completely, and now:

  • It won’t turn on.
  • There’s no low battery icon when pressing the power button.
  • The touchpad clicks, but the screen and touchbar are unresponsive.

I’ve already tried several troubleshooting steps:

  • SMC resets (Shift + Control + Option + Power for 10 seconds).
  • NVRAM/PRAM reset (Command + Option + P + R for 20 seconds).
  • Using different Apple-certified chargers and cables, including testing all USB-C ports.
  • Leave it plugged in for over two hours to see if it charges or powers on.
    Additional Notes:
  • Before the battery drained, it was functioning normally aside from the “Battery Not Charging” message.
  • I’m also worried about data recovery, I have a lot of files I didn’t push to the server.
If anyone has dealt with something similar or has suggestions for additional troubleshooting, I’d appreciate your help. I’m considering taking it to an Apple Store but I want to explore every option first.

Thanks in advance!
